The Group of International Relations and Interuniversity Work was created to plan, organise and coordinate international and interuniversity cooperation in the field of education and science, which is carried out by the KFC of KhNUIA within its powers, namely: expanding and deepening international contacts, increasing the authority of the College in the world, promoting the improvement of the qualifications of teachers, cadets, students by coordinating scientific, scientific-pedagogical, educational contacts with relevant institutions abroad and in Ukraine, summarising the results of this work.

The group is guided by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine ‘On Education’, ‘On Higher Education’; resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; acts of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine; the University Charter; the Regulations on the College; orders of the University; as well as orders, instructions of the College, orders of the Director of the College and his deputies.

The main tasks of the Group of International Relations and Interuniversity Work are:

• development, organisation and coordination of activities in the field of international and inter-university cooperation of the KFC of KhNUIA on education and science, in particular, development of proposals for its expansion and strengthening, promotion of direct relations with domestic and foreign higher education institutions, as well as other foreign partners.
• planning, organisation, coordination and implementation of activities related to the fulfilment of the obligations of the KFC of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs under agreements on inter-university cooperation and international treaties.
• organisation and holding of inter-university scientific and practical conferences, symposia, seminars, etc.
• organisation and conclusion of agreements, contracts on cooperation, scientific consulting and internships with higher education institutions in Ukraine and abroad.
• organisation and participation in international internship programmes for higher education students, teaching and research staff.
• organisation and implementation of double and parallel diploma programmes for first bachelor's degree under the EPP.
• Conducting career guidance work among foreign higher education institutions.
