From 11 October to 20 December 2025, the staff of the Kremenchuk Flight College of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in an international academic internship on the topic ‘Modern EdTech in the Educational Process of Higher Education Institutions’, organised by the Higher School of Social and Economic Studies in Przeworsk (Republic of Poland). The following people took part in the internship:
Maryna Kiriukhina, Head of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines;
Andrii Tsarenko, senior teacher of the Air Transport Department;
Volodymyr Zhurid, teacher of the Air Transport Department;
Volodymyr Tiahnii, Candidate of Technical Sciences, senior researcher, associate professor of the Air Transport Department.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about modern approaches to the use of educational technologies in higher education institutions, explore the implementation of digital platforms for distance and blended learning, as well as tools for interactive communication with students. Particular attention was paid to the design of training courses using EdTech, the development of electronic teaching materials, the assessment of learning outcomes and the promotion of academic integrity in the European educational space.
The international internship programme consisted of the following six training modules:
Modern digital educational technologies in the learning process: realities and prospects.
Tools for teacher self-development.
Basics of the Polish language for international communication at level A0.
Conducting training: psychology of the modern learner.
Digital technologies in teaching.
Presentation of projects and summarising results.
One of the areas of the internship was learning Polish at a basic level, with an emphasis on professional and academic vocabulary, which helps improve communication with Polish colleagues and expands opportunities to participate in international educational and scientific projects.
During the internship, the participants considered practical cases of using digital technologies in teaching social sciences and humanities, current trends in higher education, issues of educational quality, and opportunities for international academic cooperation. As a result of the training, the participants received certificates for 180 hours/6 ECTS credits.
The knowledge and skills acquired will be used to update the content of academic disciplines, improve teaching methods, introduce innovative digital solutions into the educational process, and improve the quality of training for future aviation professionals.
