On 23 December 2025, as part of the implementation of the veteran policy programme, a meeting was held with a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The event was organised by representatives of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

During the meeting, participants discussed current legal issues faced by military personnel during and after their service. Particular attention was paid to the topics of social protection, obtaining combatant status, benefits and guarantees for defenders of Ukraine, as well as their family members.

As part of its veteran policy programme, the Kremenchuk Flight College of the KhNUIA constantly provides free legal assistance to military personnel, war veterans and their family members. Consultations are provided on administrative, social, labour and other areas of law that are of relevance to the defenders of Ukraine.
