As part of the implementation of social, humanitarian, educational and career guidance activities, the Kremenchuk Flight College organised a screening of the podcast series ‘Ukrainians Who Changed the World’, dedicated to the outstanding Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych and the history of the creation of the world-famous piece of music ‘Shchedryk’.

Specialists from the Department of Social, Humanitarian, Educational and Career Guidance Work systematically take care of the cultural and moral education of students, shaping their national consciousness, respect for Ukrainian cultural heritage and awareness of the contribution of Ukrainians to world culture.

While watching the podcast, students learned about the historical background of ‘Shchedryk’ creation, the peculiarities of Mykola Leontovych's creative path, and how Ukrainian folk melodies gained worldwide recognition and became a symbol of Christmas music culture in many countries around the world.

The event helped broaden the horizons of young people, develop their interest in Ukrainian classical music, and raise awareness of the importance of preserving and promoting national cultural heritage. Such initiatives are an integral part of the educational work of higher education institutions and are designed to foster the harmonious development of future specialists.
