On 25 November 2025, a chess championship was held at the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines among full-time students of the Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

The competition was attended by students of 1-4 years of study. The championship was held in a round-robin system. According to the results of the competition, the winners were determined: I place: Kamran Olkhovyk; II place: Dmytro Yemelianov; III place: Oleksandr Matisko. 

The winners and runners-up were awarded with diplomas. The main judge of the competition was Oleh Halata, a teacher at the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines.  Maryna Kiriukhina, head of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities, took an active part in organising and conducting the competition.
