On 24 November 2025, a demonstrative practical class on the discipline of ‘Professional English (spoken language, radio communication phraseology)’ was held at the Kremenchuk Flight College of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Inna Ryshkova, a teacher at the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Fundamental Disciplines, conducted a class for students of the Pdsr-22-1b group on the topic ‘Airports and Runways.’

Key features of the class:

Students practised standard radio communication phraseology when detecting animals on the runway, which is an important aspect of flight safety.

The class used:

  • authentic audio recordings of radio communications
  • practical exercises for creating interrogative constructions
  • role-playing games simulating radio communication between pilots and ATC
  • analysis of real aviation incidents
