On 21 November 2025, Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held an informational and educational session entitled ‘Freedom Has a Price’ to mark the Day of Dignity and Freedom, followed by a screening of the documentary film ‘Maidan: Six Letters of Our Freedom,’ which recreates the key events of the Revolution of Dignity and shows the power of the Ukrainian people unity.
During the event, participants recalled the events of November 2013 – February 2014, honoured the memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes and all defenders of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our state. The dormitory tutors emphasised the importance of learning from history and forming an active civic position among young people.
The screening of the film helped the students to immerse themselves emotionally in the events of the Maidan, allowing them to better understand the price that was paid for freedom and why it must be cherished every day. After the screening, a discussion took place during which the students shared their impressions and talked about the importance of human dignity, solidarity, and patriotism.
