In accordance with the Plan of Events on Academic Integrity at the KFC of KhNUIA for the 2025/2026 academic year, approved by the Pedagogical Council of the KFC of KhNUIA (Minutes No. 1 dated 27 August 2025), the person responsible for academic integrity at the College, Liudmyla Oliinyk, Candidate of Economic Sciences, head of the Scientific Activities Organisation Department, took an international professional development course (webinar) on ‘Academic Integrity for Bachelors’ Degree Programmes in the European Union and Ukraine.’ The international advanced training (webinar) was organised by the Institute of Public Administration ISAP (Lublin, Poland) and IESF – International Foundation for Scholars and Educators.
During the course, Liudmyla Oliinyk explored topics such as: the implementation of academic integrity in higher education institutions, the development of a culture of academic integrity in Ukraine; modern global standards of academic writing: from theory to practice (taking into account the requirements of leading global publishers and universities); academic integrity: plagiarism (international experience); current aspects of the European experience of academic integrity; academic integrity and online assessment (international experience).
The knowledge gained will be used by Liudmyla Oliinyk in her work at the Scientific Activities Organisation Department and during events at the College on academic integrity compliance.
