The main tasks of the Meteorology Classroom are:

- study to correctly assess weather conditions and understand the danger of dangerous weather phenomena and their impact on flights;

- study and practice of skills of decoding the code KN-01, analysis of weather with the help of decoded information and making decision on departure;

- study of practical methods of primary analysis of surface weather maps; processing and analysis of pressure topography maps; reading prognostic maps of special weather phenomena, Weather Surveillance Radar maps;

- study and practice of skills of decoding of international aviation codes METAR (SPECI), TAF (TAF AMD), zonal forecast for flights at low altitudes GAMET. Analyze the weather with decoded information and making decision on departure.
