The Laboratory of Mi-8T, Mi-8MTV Cockpit Procedure Trainer №110A provides carrying out of separate types of practical classes provided by curricula.

The main purpose of the creation and operation of the Laboratory of Mi-8T, Mi-8MTV Cockpit Procedure Trainer №110A/B is to conduct practical classes in the discipline “Preparation on the Cockpit Procedure Trainer”, acquaint cadets with helicopter cockpit equipment, preparation for starting, testing and shutting down engines. 

The main tasks of the Laboratory of Mi-8T, Mi-8MTV Cockpit Procedure Trainer №110A are: 

• conducting practical classes using helicopter cockpit equipment; 

• acquisition by cadets of skills of preparation for starting, testing and shutting down engines. 

As a result of practical training in the discipline “Preparation on the Cockpit Procedure Trainer” cadets must be able to perform pre-flight inspection of the helicopter, prepare the cockpit to start the engine, start the engines, check systems and equipment, act correctly in case of special occurrence in flight.
