The Professional Undergraduate Education Department has been functioning within the structure of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs since 17 September 2024 by combining the Department of General Education and the Department of Professional Education. The Professional Undergraduate Education Department provides training for students on the ground of basic general secondary education of full-time education in the economic and technical direction of the educational qualification level of professional junior bachelor.

High-quality training of future specialists is ensured by the high organisation of the educational process, modern teaching methods, a variety of approaches and teaching methods of highly qualified teachers of the department and college.

The educational activities of the Professional Undergraduate Education Department are aimed at the following:

- implementation of competence-based and communicative approaches in teaching disciplines;

- development of logical and algorithmic thinking, formation of mathematical, scientific and natural competences in students;

- development of students' personality in accordance with their needs, interests and inclinations;

- formation of students' worldview culture, economic and legal consciousness, skills and abilities of independent knowledge acquisition;

- formation of the ability to self-organisation and self-development, high moral qualities, social activity and personal civic position;

- introduction of modern scientific and sports achievements in the formation of a healthy lifestyle of young people and the formation of theoretical knowledge, practical and methodological skills in physical education;

- Gaining experience in applying the acquired knowledge and values throughout life in personal, educational and professional activities.

Teachers of the Professional Undergraduate Education Department use information and communication technologies in the educational process, the online distance learning platform LMS MOODLE, which contributes to improving the level of educational services in the context of informatization of society, taking into account international requirements and standards. Lectures, practical and seminar classes, and laboratory work are conducted using modern multimedia tools. The use of textual and audio-visual information improves the quality and efficiency of learning and meets the expectations of modern students.

Educational work at the Professional Undergraduate Education Department takes a leading place among all other areas of work of the college's teaching staff. The staff of the department improves the effectiveness of education by improving traditional forms of work, searching for new systems of education, and introducing educational technologies.

Organisational and educational work of curators with students includes:

- holding educational hours on relevant topics;

- individual work with students and its effectiveness and efficiency.

- the role of the student body in the preparation of collective creative works.

- Assistance to students in physical education and recreation.

- Maintaining educational documentation.

An integral part of the educational work at the Professional Undergraduate Education Department is student self-government, which is one of the important conditions for involving young people in public activities. The students of the department take an active part in the meetings of the student council of the college, as well as in the organization and holding of the self-government day.
