Lecturers of the cycle commission of natural sciences of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held an Olympiad in the discipline “Theory of
Machines and Mechanisms”. The Olympiad was attended by third-year cadets studying in specialty 272 “Aviation Transport”. Observers were: Yana Doludareva, the Head of the cycle commission of natural sciences, the lecturers Andrii Siora and Vitalii Moskalyk. The Olympiad was held in one stage. Participants were asked to answer and complete the
relevant tasks. According to the results of the event, the winners were determined: 1st place was taken by cadet Yevheniia Solonenko, 2nd place - cadet Serhii Hlushchenko and 3rd place - cadet Kateryna Rykova.

The meeting of the science club of students and cadets “Language means for describing scientific information are an important component of professional training” was conducted by its supervisor Oksana Savchenko. During the meeting they discussed the participation of cadet Yevhen Kurinnyi with a report on the topic “The figure of Volodymyr Vynnychenko and his memorial and publicistic work “Rebirth of the Nation” among the political elite of the first decades of the twentieth century” in the All-Ukrainian Conference “Ukraine: the dynamics of meanings and dimensions of national existence” and in the International Conference “The Path of Success and Prospects for Development” (to the 26th anniversary of the founding of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs), as well as cadet Anton Novikov with a report on the topic “Masterpiece as the “main work” of the artist (self-portrait of Taras Shevchenko in his younger days)”.

Liudmyla Chyzhova, the Academic Advisor held a webinar meeting of the science club of higher education students on the topic “ICAO English is an important component of flight
safety”. At the meeting of the science club they talked about the formation of academic integrity, ensuring an effective system of prevention and detection of academic plagiarism in the scientific works of higher education, the conceptual apparatus of academic writing, its structure, citation rules and references in academic texts. The relevance of topics for
writing articles, abstracts, reports was discussed.

Yurii Shmeliov, the Deputy Director of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the Candidate of Technical Sciences, conducted a professional practical training with future pilots of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on Ak1-3 helicopter. The cadets showed a great desire to learn piloting techniques and a desire for new knowledge.

The Scientific Department of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a scientific seminar in remote mode on the topic “Academic Writing”, in continuation of a series of seminars on compliance with the principles of academic integrity.
