Kremenchuk is a city of regional subordination, the administrative and industrial center of Ukraine. The city is located in a moderately continental climatic zone on the border of the Dnieper lowlands, on the Dnieper River. It is located 115 km away from the regional center of Poltava and 290 km from the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. Kremenchuk was founded in 1571. Currently, about 238 thousand people reside in the city.

  • food industry;
  • building industry.

The city has 31 secondary schools, 6 lyceums and gymnasiums, 60 preschools, 5 universities. The population of the city serves 13 inpatient, 24 outpatient clinics.
