Hosted events dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the glorious son of Pokuttia Vasyl Stefanyk took place at Kremenchuk Flight College. Students were presented with a presentation "Vasyl Stefanyk: novelist, artist, citizen, patriot". A round table on the topic "Artist of great talent" was organized for lecturers of the cycle commission of philological disciplines. The event was organized by the head of the cycle commission of philological disciplines Oksana Savchenko.
During the presentation, students got acquainted with the life and career of V.S. Stefanyk, watched the documentary "Lord of the Peasants' Dumas", held a discussion of short stories "Sons", "Stone Cross", which cover the topic of military service and protection of the native land, issues of emigration of Ukrainians abroad, the feeling of losing their home, etc. An exhibition of the writer's works of art, literary and critical materials about the life and work of the artist, research articles about Vasyl Stefanyk, and letters to Ukraine in the book by Yurii Stefanyk, the poet's youngest son, was opened.
The round table was attended by Olha Lenko, the director of the Literary Memorial Museum Vasyl Stefanyk in Rusiv village, Sniatyn district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. She conducted a virtual tour of the museum's exhibits. The lecturers of the cycle commission asked many questions to the guide and received comprehensive answers.
