Maryna Petchenko, the Candidate of Economic Sciences, the Head of the Science Department of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in an online Seminar-Workshop “STOP Violence” dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The event was organized by the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Kyiv Institute of Business and Technology, JSC “National Bar Association” UARMBO.

The seminar covered the following issues: “The nature of violence: how the negative cycle is formed and why it is difficult to get out of it”, “How to recognize violence in relationships and minimize risks”, “What to do if violence already occurs”, “Support, not condemnation, understanding complex feelings and doubts”, “Analysis of myths that exist around violence”, “Methods of diagnosing control and violence in relationships”, “Techniques that will help to get closer to understanding your feelings”, “Where to go for help”.

Maryna Petchenko passed advanced training on the topic “Elimination of violence against women” and received a certificate.

The acquired knowledge and skills will be implemented in gender activities planned by the research department in 2021.
