On 22 January, students from the Kremenchuk Flight College of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs visited the book exhibition ‘Ukraine's Strength Lies in Unity,’ which is on display in the college library's reading room and is dedicated to Ukrainian Unity Day.
The exhibition features books, periodicals, informational materials, and illustrative documents highlighting key events in Ukrainian statehood, the history of the Ukrainian people's struggle for independence, unity, and territorial integrity. Special attention is paid to the Act of Unification of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic of 1919, which became a symbol of the unification of Ukrainian lands.
During the visit to the exhibition, students learned about the historical background of Unity Day, the importance of national unity for modern Ukraine, and also got acquainted with little-known facts from the history of our state. The event contributed to the formation of patriotic feelings, awareness of the importance of social cohesion and the responsibility of each citizen for the future of the country.
The book exhibition became an important element of national-patriotic education and sparked lively interest among young people, encouraging them to study the history of Ukraine in greater depth.
