On 11 December 2025, the Commission of the annual competition ‘Best Publication of 2025’ of the Public Organisation ‘National Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine’ held a meeting. A total of 126 works were submitted to the competition in 12 categories: monographs – 20, textbooks – 6, coursebooks – 56, scientific journalism – 5, collections of scientific works – 15, reference literature – 8, periodicals – 2, methodological recommendations and electronic workbooks – 5; works by young scientists – 1; scientific articles – 3, fiction – 3, patents – 2.

The Kremenchuk Flight College of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs participated in the competition with the coursebook ‘Corrosion of Metals’ by authors Valentyna Syvolozhska, Tetiana Kozlovska, and Olena Davitaia. The teachers’ work received the third-place winner's diploma in the ‘Best Publication of 2025’ competition in the ‘Coursebooks’ category for its profound intellectual content and professional approach to the subject matter.
