Cadets from the Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs visited the reading room of the library at Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, accompanied by their teacher, Ms Nadiia. This visit was a great opportunity for the guests to learn more about the history of the college, the library and to work with information resources in practice.
The head of the Public Library, Nina Popova, warmly welcomed the cadets and gave them an informative tour. She talked about the establishment of the Flight College, the history of the library, and its role in the educational process. The guests found out the structure of the library's collection, the specifics of selecting educational and scientific literature, as well as the features of electronic resources and the reading room.
After the tour, the cadets moved on to the practical part — under the guidance of Ms Nadiia, they learned how to create bibliographic descriptions of books and magazines. The participants studied the basic rules for creating descriptions, types of bibliographic records, and tried to compile them independently based on publications from the library's collection. This skill is necessary for the educational and research work of future specialists.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the library invited everyone to join the library community and use its resources for professional growth. The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere and became an example of fruitful cooperation between the KhNUIA branches, which promotes the exchange of experience and the formation of a unified educational space.
