On 3 December 2025, Olena Pushkar, Associate Professor of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Fundamental Disciplines, conducted a practical class with the use of quest technologies on the topic ‘Income, Profit, Profitability’ with third-year higher education students.
At the beginning of the class, students were given a search and calculation assignment consisting of several consecutive tasks to pass the quest checkpoints. Students actively performed the tasks using materials from the Internet, which prepared them for the process of perceiving and assimilating educational information.
Thanks to a constructive approach to learning, the students put their theoretical knowledge in order and found the best ways to solve the applied task, which ensured the accumulation of points that ultimately formed the grades of the quest participants.
The high level of interest and productivity of higher education students in the class was ensured by the effective selection of the form and methods of training. All students were involved in the work and were active and productive. Higher education students responded positively to the practical training session using quest technology elements.
Olena Pushkar summed up the class and emphasised the importance of the topic discussed in shaping the knowledge system of higher education students. The purpose of the lesson was fully realised and the expected results were achieved.
