On 27 November 2025, the Clarivate company held a webinar on ‘Improving Searches in Web of Science,’ which was attended by the following college staff: Liudmyla Oliinyk, head of the Scientific Activities Organisation Department, Nataliia Kitsel, research assistant in the Department, and Oksana Borysenko, head of the Practical Training Department.

Since its creation, Web of Science has been a leader in innovation, anticipating and meeting the needs of researchers as technology evolves. Smart Search is a new standard search method in Web of Science, designed for more intuitive and multilingual use. Thanks to semantic search and natural language processing, it allows users to enter queries in natural language and returns results ranked by artificial intelligence, both by documents and by researchers.

During the webinar, participants learned more about the improved search method, as well as the enhanced search and Web of Science's AI-powered generative research assistant for faster, easier, and more efficient searching for relevant research.
