On 26 November 2025, Valentyna Syvolozska, the teacher of the Air Transport Cyclical Commission, a specialist of the highest category, methodologist, held a binary class for 4th-year junior bachelor students of the TPMdbsr-22-1 study group, the educational and professional programme ‘Maintenance of storage, transportation, and refueling equipment for fuel and lubricants,’ field of knowledge 27 ‘Transport,’ specialty 272 ‘Aviation Transport’. The binary class was held on the academic discipline ‘Safety when working with fuel and lubricants, fire safety when refuelling aircraft’ on the topic: ‘Work Safety When Refuelling Aircraft.’

Volodymyr Sych, head of the fuel and lubricants service at the Velyka Kokhnivka airfield, was invited to conduct the binary class.  Using examples from his practical experience, Volodymyr Sych focused on the harmful and dangerous factors involved in refuelling aircraft, safety requirements for the distribution and storage of fuel and lubricants, refuelling aircraft using a fuel tanker, and a video was shown on refuelling aircraft in the air.

At the end of the class, Volodymyr Sych answered numerous questions from students regarding safety measures when working with fuel and lubricants.
