On 26 November 2025, Associate Professor of the Department of Management, Social Sciences and Humanities, Candidate of Economic Sciences Olena Pushkar conducted a scientific seminar on ‘The State and Prospects of Civil Aviation in Ukraine’ with the participation of third-year higher education students. The event was attended by Liudmyla Oliinyk, head of the Scientific Activities Organisation Department, Candidate of Economic Sciences; Nataliia Kitsel, research assistant at the Scientific Activities Organisation Department; and Maryna Kiriukhina, head of the Department of Management, Social Sciences and Humanities, PhD in Pedagogy.
The seminar began with an opening speech by Olena Pushkar, Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Economic Sciences, who described the role and significance of civil aviation in the development of a stable economy and the current realities in Ukraine, as well as the importance of considering this topic for higher education students as future specialists in civil aviation.
The topic of the scientific seminar was explored in students’ presentations, where they shared their research findings.
During the seminar, students took an active part in the discussion, asking relevant questions, which were answered by both the students and those present at the scientific seminar, Liudmyla Oliinyk, Nataliia Kitsel, and Olena Pushkar.
The content of the information discussed provides an additional level of comprehension of the role and significance of civil aviation in the post-war stabilisation and development of Ukraine's economy and its integration into the European and global economic space.
At the end of the seminar, Lyudmila Oliinyk, head of the Scientific Activities Organisation Department, Candidate of Economic Sciences, emphasised the importance of holding scientific seminars for higher education students in order to attract them to the college's scientific activities and their further scientific work in this field.
Associate Professor of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Fundamental Disciplines, Candidate of Economic Sciences Olena Pushkar concluded the scientific seminar by summarising the results of the seminar and expressing her gratitude to the higher education students who actively participated in its conduct and to all those present.
