On 6 November 2025, a binary lesson was held in the discipline ‘H-125, H-145 Design and Maintenance’ for bachelor’s degree students of the Pdsr-24-1b group, educational and professional programme ‘Air Navigation’ in the field of knowledge 27 ‘Transport’, speciality 272 ‘Air Transport’.
Kostiantyn Khrystoliubskyi, a leading specialist in the field, aviation technician for airframes and engines at the Aviation Support Center of the National Police of Ukraine, was invited to conduct the binary class.
The teacher Oleksandr Samokhlib announced to the students the topic of the binary class: ‘Features of fuselage design using composite materials.’
At the beginning of the class, Kostiantyn Khrystoliubskyi talked about the configuration of the H-145 helicopter fuselage. Then, there was an active discussion of the following issues: ‘Types of composite materials,’ ‘Advantages of using composite materials,’ ‘Features of composite fuselage maintenance.’ The students actively asked questions and, in the course of the dialogue, clarified the features of using a fuselage made of composite materials.
Kostiantyn Khrystoliubskyi then explained how parts are made from composite materials.
At the end of the session, Kostiantyn Khrystoliubskyi summed up the topics covered, talked about perspective areas of development for the Ukrainian National Police's aircraft fleet, and answered all the students' questions.
The students gained new knowledge, got to know the design features of fuselage elements made of composite materials, and successfully mastered all the materials of the binary lesson.
