On 17 November 2025, on the eve of World Children's Day, which has been celebrated in Ukraine since 2025 as the new Children's Protection Day, students of the Kremenchuk Flight College of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a joint educational entertainment event for pupils of the Centre for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children of the Kremenchuk City Council of the Kremenchuk District of the Poltava Oblast. Students from the Sumy branch of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs also joined in the organisation.

The event was aimed at drawing attention to the importance of protecting children's rights, promoting humanistic values and raising awareness among young people that every child is of the highest value and represents the future of the state. The programme included both entertainment and educational elements.

During the meeting, the children and students solved puzzles and improved their knowledge of the Ukrainian language by naming objects in Ukrainian. The participants also demonstrated their wit in an interactive game involving describing objects without naming them directly, which helped develop their speech, attention and creative thinking.

In addition to the meaningful programme, pleasant gifts were prepared for the pupils of the Centre — the children were solemnly presented with sweets and exciting board and active games that will contribute to their meaningful and useful leisure time.

The final part of the event was particularly symbolic — each child left a colourful handprint on a shared sheet of paper with the slogan ‘The future begins with us,’ which emphasised unity, trust and hope for a bright future.
