Blood donation and donor status have become habitual and conscious notions for many employees and students of the Kremenchuk Flight College of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The staff of the educational institution systematically contributes to saving lives by supporting an important humanitarian mission.

Another example of social responsibility was demonstrated by Yana Unkovska, a specialist in the Educational Process Organisation Department, and Svitlana Stelmakh, a specialist in the International Relations and Interuniversity Work Group, who voluntarily decided to become donors. Their initiative is a conscious step that emphasises the importance of donation as an act of mercy, mutual assistance and civic responsibility.

The word ‘donor’ comes from Latin and means ‘one who gives.’ This meaning most fully reflects the essence of the act of the college staff members, who gave the gift of life to those who need it most.

The administration of the Kremenchuk Flight College of the KhNUIA expresses its sincere gratitude to Yana Unkovska and Svitlana Stelmakh for their contribution to the development of the donor movement and calls on everyone to join this noble cause of saving lives.
