On 11 November 2025, the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines held a scientific seminar on the topic ‘CAD-systems use for studying stress-strained condition.’ The event was attended by students majoring in 272 ‘Aviation Transport,’ an educational and professional programme ‘Maintenance and Repair of Aircraft and Aircraft Engines.’ The topic of the scientific seminar is connected to the discipline ‘Theoretical Mechanics and Strength of Materials.’

Candidate of Technical Sciences Oleksandr Pavlenko showed an example of using CAD programmes in engineering calculations.

During the seminar, the participants discussed a range of tasks related to the analysis of the stress-strained condition of details used in industry. There was shown how to use the Creo Parametric programme to study the stress-strained condition of details, use 3D modelling, simulate and analyse the results.

Students actively discussed the actual load on the details for creating calculation schemes, and also considered the scheme of force distribution on the model and the features of simulation results output.
