On 30 October 2025, college staff participated in the webinar ‘Research Commons – a new database on the Web of Science platform,’ organised by Clarivate.

During the webinar, participants learned more about the new database, which adds 21% more journal content for research. It was also illustrated how to explore more studies from the Global South and the social sciences and humanities; prioritise quality or breadth of coverage depending on research needs; and establish connections between concepts more quickly due to a broader citation network.
