On 27 October 2025, Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs community united to celebrate the national holiday, Ukrainian Literature and Language Day, and joined in the warmest linguistic tradition of the year – writing the All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation of National Unity 2025.

The event was organised and conducted by Vira Siora, teacher of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines.

Before the dictation began, the event organiser greeted all those present, telling them about the history of the holiday and the tradition of writing the Radio Dictation. The students were captivated by the senior teacher’s recitation of famous Ukrainian quotes about language and Maksym Rylskyi’s poem ‘Language (Mova).’

Olena Tsymbalistova, the Deputy Director of the College for Educational and Scientific Activities, joined in the welcoming speech, congratulating everyone on Ukrainian Literature and Language Day, emphasising the importance of holding such an event and involving students in honouring Ukrainian traditions.

Then everyone immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the Suspilne Kultura TV channel. After writing the dictation, the students received leaflets entitled ‘Your Language Responsibilities’ as a reminder that language is a priceless gift!

The radio dictation is not about literacy, but rather about the fact that the Ukrainian language is not only a means of communication for us, but also a powerful weapon that helps define our national identity, inspires us to fight, and unites us for a common VICTORY over the enemy!!!
