From October 13 to 18, 2025, Oksana Borysenko, head of the Practical Training Department of the Educational Process Organisation Department, together with students majoring in 073 Management, the educational and professional program ‘Organisation of transport services,’ took part in one of the largest career festivals – Economist Career Way.
This festival gave the opportunity to cooperate with prospective employers and establish business relations with them on students and graduate’s employment. It was an opportunity for future professionals to meet leading employers, learn about career prospects and find a job.
The festival included:
- a job and internship fair with offers from top companies, including PwC, Credit Agricole, Forvis Mazars, OJSC Ukraine, ProCredit Bank, National Bank of Ukraine, EY, Baker Tilly, Deloitte, Oschadbank, and KPMG;
- short online webinars with experts, where participants could ask questions;
- analysis of real cases and teamwork on solutions.
Students were particularly interested in the KPMG webinar ‘What communication skills are needed for employment?’. During the webinar, students learned about: the importance of active listening; the effectiveness of nonverbal communication; preparing for conversations and interviews; and tips for written communication.
The event was aimed at helping the young specialists to learn about the domestic labour market and employers' offers regarding employment and practical training, as well as find their first regular job.
