On October 9, 2025, the staff of the Public Library of the Kremenchuk Flight College of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the all-Ukrainian webinar ‘Oxford University Press Resources for Ukraine – Opportunities from EIFL,’ organised by the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine (DSTL) as part of the activities of the EIFL-Ukraine Consortium.
The event was dedicated to the wide range of opportunities that Oxford University Press resources offer Ukrainian educational and scientific institutions. Participants had the opportunity to learn about 14 unique information platforms, including:
Oxford Medicine Online – a comprehensive medical knowledge base;
Oxford Research Encyclopaedias – authoritative encyclopaedic resources;
Oxford Scholarship Online – a leading platform for scientific monographs;
Oxford Clinical Psychology Online – specialised content for psychologists;
and many other resources that support scientific research, educational activities, and professional development.
Webinar speakers — Tetiana Yaroshenko (National Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine) and Nataliia Dudchenko (Sumy State University) — provided participants with a detailed overview of all available resources, shared practical advice on their effective use, and presented a case study from Sumy State University, which demonstrated real-life experience in implementing and using Oxford resources in the educational process.
Participation in such training sessions allows specialists of the Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA library to improve their level of competence, master their skills in working with international information platforms, and implement modern tools to support the educational and scientific environment of the college.
As a result, library staff received a certificate of participation.
