On 23 October 2025, Svitlana Hrybanova, a senior teacher of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines, conducted a practical lesson using quest technologies on the topic ‘Information security and protection’ with 1st year students, majoring in J6 Air Transport, educational and professional programme ‘Air Navigation.’

At the beginning of the lesson, students were offered a search task: to open the educational portal to pass the quest checkpoints. Being interested, the students actively complete tasks, which encouraged them to focus on the process of perceiving and assimilating educational information.

Thanks to a constructive approach to learning, the students put their theoretical knowledge in order and found the best ways to solve the applied task, which ensured the accumulation of points that ultimately formed the grades of the quest participants.

The class ensured high performance of the students. Everyone was involved in the work and worked actively and productively, which was facilitated by the effective selection of methods and forms of work. Svitlana Hrybanova summed up the class and emphasised the importance of the topic discussed in shaping the knowledge system of higher education students. The purpose of the lesson was fully realised and the expected results were achieved.

It is worth noting the positive perception of the procedure of practical training using elements of quest technologies by students.
