Associate Professor of the Department of Engineering and Emergency Rescue Equipment of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Operational Rescue Forces of the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Lieutenant Colonel of the Civil Protection Service Nataliia Zobenko gave a guest lecture for bachelor's students, majoring in 272 Air Transport, dedicated to the use of aircraft for assigned tasks within the competence of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The lecture was attended by the head of the Department of Air Transport, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Tetiana Kozlovska, teachers of the department Oleksandr Tsarenko, Oleh Kyrychenko, Oleksandr Samokhlib, and senior teacher Viktor Panchenko.

During the guest lecture, Nataliia Zobenko familiarised students with the regulatory documents concerning the obtaining of permission to fly aircraft of the State Emergency Service, which are recorded in the Register of State Aircraft of Ukraine, carried out by the relevant structural unit of the State Emergency Service, within whose competence this falls, in accordance with the procedure established by law. The tasks that aircraft can perform within the competence of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were also highlighted, in particular, forecasting emergencies with the determination of the boundaries of the territory and coordinates of objects and terrain relief, surveying potentially dangerous objects, monitoring and so on.

At the end of the class, the students received answers to their questions about the features of the operation and use of various aircraft in the State Emergency Service of Ukraine system.
