On 10 October 2025, Serhii Sych, the teacher of the Cyclic Commission for Electronic Communications, Radio Engineering and Avionics, conducted a practical class with the use of quest technologies for 4th year students of the group TPMdbsr-22-1 in the discipline ‘Means of Control and Recording of Flight Parameters’ on the topic: ‘P-507 Cockpit Voice Recorder’.

 At the beginning of the lesson, the basic knowledge and skills of the students were updated, and the following issues were considered: the purpose and main technical characteristics of the P-507 recorder, the composition and location of its blocks, operating modes, activation and performance monitoring. The students actively answered and joined the discussion.

Later, the teacher offered the following questions and tasks to the students: diagnostic system operation with indication, operation in recording verification mode during maintenance, control of recorder operability by signalling, and solving a crossword puzzle on the topic.

During the discussion of these issues, a laptop was used to show a presentation and demonstrate experiments using electrical measuring equipment.

After that, the teacher directed the students' attention to an example of solving practical problems. The students received individual tasks to solve independently. At the end of the practical lesson, students had successfully solved the tasks, gained new theoretical knowledge and acquired practical skills.
