In accordance with the plan of extracurricular activities for higher education students of the Kremenchuk Flight College of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a series of informational and educational events were organised and held on 11–12 October 2025, aimed at forming a conscious and responsible attitude towards one's own health and raising the level of legal and social awareness among young people.
On 11 October 2025, a precautionary video was screened, followed by a discussion on the topic ‘Psychotropic substances as an illusion of safety’. Fifteen higher education students took part in the event. During the discussion, participants had the opportunity to analyse the risks of using psychoactive substances, their impact on physical and mental health, as well as on the future of young people. Such meetings contribute to the development of critical thinking skills and conscious choice.
On 12 October 2025, fifteen students watched an educational series on the ‘Diia.Osvita’ platform on the topic of ‘Inclusive Youth Work.’ The series introduced participants to modern approaches to ensuring inclusiveness in the youth environment, the importance of equal opportunities for all, and the role of young people in building a barrier-free society.
These events were another step in the implementation of comprehensive educational work at the college aimed at shaping socially active, responsible, and informed young people.
