On 9 October 2025, the College’s representatives and academic staff from the Air Transport Department, with the facilitation of the International Relations and Interuniversity Work Group, actively participated in an international webinar on the AVIATION WEEK platform ‘Transforming the Airport Operation with Virtual Twin Technology’. They were Olena Tsymbalistova, the Deputy Director of the College for Educational and Scientific Activities; Tetiana Kozlovska, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, head of the Department and Associate Professor; senior teachers Alla Reuta, Inna Deriabina, Viktor Panchenko, Olena Davitaia, Valentyna Syvolozhska, Anatolii Yanitskyi; teachers Volodymyr Zhurid, Oleksandr Samokhlib, and Oleh Kyrychenko.
The webinar was also attended by the first (bachelor's) level students, representatives of the TAdms-24-1b study group, the educational and professional programme ‘Airport Operations and Technological Equipment’, majoring in 272 Air Transport: Mykhailo Burnazov, Nazar Valchuk, Andrii Omelchenko, Volodymyr Kravchenko, Mykhailo Varych, and Marharyta Kaptsevych.
Also, the international webinar gained the interest of students from the TMdsr-25-1b study group of the educational and professional programme ‘Maintenance and Repair of Aircraft and Aircraft Engines’: Volodymyr Litovchenko, Danylo Linkiv, Victoriia Pecherytsia, Oleksandr Petrov, Yehor Artemiev, and Maksym Soloviov.
During the webinar, the following issues were discussed: modelling and optimisation of design, traffic, and maintenance of airports; real-time situational awareness for better decision-making; ensuring operational readiness through digital implementation; proactive feedback and artificial intelligence analytics; and increased sustainability and cost control through a single platform.
Participation in international webinars allows participants to master modern IT and AI technologies, develop a modern vision of technological processes in the aviation industry, and form their own opinions on a wide range of issues related to the future of airports and aerodromes and their post-war recovery.
