On 1 October 2025, Serhii Sych, teacher at the Department of Electronic Communications, Radio Engineering and Avionics, held a scientific seminar on the topic ‘Electromechanical Equipment and Its Classification.’

Yevhen Volkanin, Head of the Department of Electronic Communications, Radio Engineering and Avionics, welcomed the students and all those present. He noted that the topic of the seminar is rather relevant and wished the participants productive work during the event.

The scientific seminar was attended by five students (TEdsr-24-1b group) of the KFC of KhNUIA, including Anton Bilohub, Davyd Hazhala, Lev Padalka, Maksym Lobko, and Olha Tkachenko.

The event began with a presentation by Serhii Sych, a teacher at the Department of Electronic Communications, Radio Engineering and Avionics, who spoke about prospective areas of electromechanical equipment and its classification, modern power equipment and electronic systems control devices, electromechanical control, engines, generators, transformers, types, operating principles and areas of application. The equipment is also being upgraded through the use of modern sensors that operate using other physical principles of parameter measurement and modern components.

After each presentation, the seminar participants asked the speakers many interesting questions and held lively discussions on the topics.

At the end of the event, teacher Serhii Sych summarised the work of the scientific seminar and suggested that the speakers prepare their presentations in the form of abstracts for participation in scientific and practical conferences.

Overall, the event took place in an informative and discussion-oriented atmosphere and left a positive impression. Each of the participants learned something new and deepened their knowledge.
