On 29 September, the senior teacher of the Department of Electronic Communications, Radio Engineering and Avionics Yurii Stushchanskyi, together with instructor of the Postgraduate Education Department of the Kremenchuk Flight College of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Serhii Vermenych, held a binary lesson for students majoring in ‘Air Transport’, educational and professional programme ‘Air Navigation’ in the discipline ‘Aviation and Radio-Electronic Equipment of the Schwaizer 300C Helicopter.’

The topic of the binary class was ‘Engine, Transmission, and Helicopter Systems Control Devices.’

During the binary lesson, Yurii Stushchanskyi familiarised students with the list, purpose and location of engine, transmission and helicopter systems control devices on the instrument panel.

Serhii Vermenych talked about the location of the sensors for these instruments on the Schwaizer 300C helicopter, how they work, and their operational limitations.

At the end of the class, the speakers answered numerous questions from students regarding the specifics of use, performance monitoring, and typical failures of the Schwaizer 300C helicopter's engine, transmission, and systems control devices in flight.
