On 8 September 2025, the head of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines Maryna Kiriukhina conducted a round table discussion on ‘Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine: Safety and Educational Component.’
A round table was held to discuss the key aspects of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration and its impact on training aviation specialists. The event brought together both teachers and students. Participants focused on how the country's Euro-Atlantic course affects the strategic development of civil and state aviation, as well as educational standards in the field of training aviation specialists.
The event was started by the head of the Department of Management, Social Sciences and Humanities, who underlined the importance of the topic for future aviators. The discussion was divided into several key sections. The first section covered geopolitical aspects. Historian Marina Kiryukhina pointed out that integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures is not just a political choice, but the only way to guarantee national security. It was highlighted that aviation is a critically important component of this security, as it provides both mobility and control over airspace.
