In the period from 19 to 28 August 2025, the Head of the Air Transport Department, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor Tetiana Kozlovska took part in the International Advanced Training (Webinar) on the topic: ‘The Basic of Grant-making and Fundraising: International Experience.’

The international advanced training (webinar) was organised by the Institute of Public Administration ISAP (Lublin, Poland) and IESF – International Foundation for Scholars and Educators.

The purpose of the webinar was to draw the attention of educators to the implementation, development and improvement of grant activities and fundraising processes in higher education institutions based on international experience.

The academic load of the international advanced training (webinar) was 1.5 ECTS credits (45 hours). Within 10 days, various areas and opportunities for grant activities and fundraising in higher education institutions were studied based on international experience:

current issues regarding grant activities;

the concept of a grant: definition, typology and areas of implementation;

step-by-step preparation of a grant proposal: international experience;

opportunities for writing scientific grants;

fundraising as a mechanism for international support of scientific projects;

writing grants for early-career researchers.

The webinar helps to develop professional competencies, acquire new communication skills, and learn about the experience of colleagues from European Union countries in using the opportunities offered by grant activities and fundraising.

The knowledge and competencies acquired will help to expand the range of educational tools that can be used in educational activities and will help to build your own trajectory of working with higher education applicants using modern online methods and techniques for developing creative, critical and logical thinking.
