On 30 August 2025, Kremenchuk Flight College cadets took part in the annual national charity run ‘Honouring Warriors, Running for Heroes.’

This event has been held for the 7th year in a row to mark the Day of Remembrance for the Defenders of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our country.

The young generation is united around the key values of statehood, dignity and national memory. Honouring heroes is not only a civic duty for cadets, but also a deeply personal matter. With particular pride, future helicopter pilots Artem, Leonid, Andrii and Oleh pinned onto their chests the numbers bearing the names of fallen soldiers:  Oleh Hehechkori, Yevhenii Zhitnii, Serhii Mekheda and Anatolii Zharkov. These names are symbols of courage, sacrifice and resilience. We remember. We honour. We run.
