On 29 August 2025, Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held events to mark the Day of Remembrance for the Defenders of Ukraine who died fighting for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country.
On this day, the College staff paid tribute to fallen heroes who gave their lives for a free Ukraine. A minute of silence was held at the educational institution. Students, led by the college's Deputy Director for Educational and Scientific Activities Olena Tsymbalistova and the head of the Educational Process Organisation Department Olena Chernikova, bowed their heads in deep respect for the courage and sacrifice of Ukrainian soldiers.
The head of the Leisure Department of the Department of Social, Humanitarian, Educational and Career Guidance Work, Tetiana Bulat, addressed the young people with heartfelt words, emphasising the importance of preserving the memory of heroes.
In addition, the head of the Department of Social, Humanitarian, Educational and Career Guidance Work, Inna Mykhailova, and the department specialist, Tetiana Samchishyna, together with the college cadets, visited the city's Alley of Memory. They honoured the fallen defenders by laying flowers as a symbol of gratitude, mourning and eternal memory.
We will never forget the feat of those who defended the Ukrainian land at the cost of their own lives. Their devotion to Ukraine is an example of true patriotism that inspires us and calls us to remember, unite and work every day for peace, justice and victory.
