On 30 August 2025, assisted by the International Relations and Interuniversity Work Group, representatives and students of the Kremenchuk Flight College of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the international online event ‘Shaping Tomorrow: European Youth,’ organised by the Young European Ambassadors initiative in Ukraine as part of the European Union's EU NEIGHBOURS east programme.

The event was dedicated to the youth's key role in shaping the political path and the development of democratic processes in contemporary Europe. Speakers from Georgia, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria and Moldova shared their experience in engaging the young generation in decision-making at the national and international levels.

The participants learned about relevant European practices of youth engagement, asked questions to international experts, and discussed the prospects for implementing initiatives aimed at boosting young people in Ukrainian higher education institutions.

Such international cooperation broadens young people's horizons, promotes active citizenship and develops the leadership skills needed by professionals in aviation and other fields.
