Last week was full of events focused on national and patriotic education of students. Particularly, cadets of Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA had visited the exhibition, dedicated to the Ukrainian Peacekeepers Day at the Kremenchuk Local History Museum.
The young people familiarised themselves with exhibits that testify to the military exploits of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the first heroes of the struggle for the freedom and independence of our nation. Particular attention was paid to the exhibition dedicated to the memory of our fellow countryman, participant in the Euromaidan events, Hero of Ukraine Ihor Serdiuk. The guide's touching narrative about his civic courage, patriotism, and selfless service to the Ukrainian people during the Revolution of Dignity deeply affected those present.
The cadets also visited the exhibition ‘The Brave Heart of a Public Order Guardian’, dedicated to the memory of Senior Lieutenant Roman Zelenskyi, who died on 22 August 2024 defending Ukraine. The exhibition talks about the service of special police units on the front lines and honours the courage of Kremenchuk law enforcement officers. Among the exhibits are Roman Zelenskyi's personal belongings, documents, awards and photographs.
Specialists from the Department of Social, Humanitarian, Educational and Career Guidance Work are sure that such events help build patriotic awareness, preserve the heroic traditions of the Ukrainian nation, and foster pride in modern warriors – defenders and peacemakers. They help to strengthen national memory and respect for the heroes of our time who gave their lives for peace and freedom in Ukraine.
