A meeting with war veterans was held at the Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, dedicated to the development of adaptive sports. The event was organised by the College's Department of Social, Humanitarian, Educational and Career Guidance Work to support the rehabilitation of military personnel and promote their social integration.
As part of the meeting, Oleh Halata, teacher of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines, showed the guests the college's sports infrastructure and introduced the possibilities of joining the state programme for adaptive sports. Those present had the opportunity to learn about the available types of physical activity that promote health recovery and overall strengthening of the body.
Particular attention was paid to an individual approach to each participant, according to their needs and physical abilities. The participants expressed interest in personalised training programmes that would allow them to return to an active lifestyle.
The warm and friendly atmosphere of the event, as well as the professionalism of the College's staff, had a positive impact on the veterans' emotional state and increased their motivation to engage in sports as an important part of their rehabilitation.
