On 14 July, the specialist of the Department of Social, Humanitarian, Educational and Career Guidance Work of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs conducted an online educational event focused on preventing Ukrainian youth from participating in sabotage and subversive activities that threaten Ukraine's national security.

During the meeting, students were presented with a number of real cases demonstrating how representatives of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) try to recruit teenagers to carry out criminal tasks. They talked about the main stages of recruitment, risk groups, reasons for minors agreeing to cooperate, and algorithm to follow in case of contacting a recruiter.

Particular attention was paid to the importance of following the informational security rules and digital hygiene in the Internet. The participants came to a common conclusion: awareness and responsible use of the Internet are the main defence measures against the threats from the enemy special services and fraudsters.

During the event, the specialist used the materials from a methodological guide developed by the Centre for Strategic Communications and Information Security of Ukraine.
