On 20 June 2025, an informational event was held on the upcoming Horizon Europe programme grants in the area of ‘Civilian Security for Society’, which are planned for 2025. Participants received up-to-date information on upcoming grants, European Commission priorities, and opportunities for cooperation within the programme's projects.

The Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA was actively represented by: The Head of the Air Transport Department, Candidate of Chemical Science, Associate Professor Tetiana Kozlovska; the Associate Researcher at the Scientific Activity Organisation Department Nataliia Kitsel; the Head of the Practical Training Department Oksana Borysenko; from the International Relations and Interuniversity Work Group: the specialist Svitlana Stelmakh and the translator Yullia Onyshchenko.

During the event, the results of the participation of Ukrainian national contact points (NCPs) in international programme events were presented:

10 June 2025 – participation in an information day for NCPs in cluster 3. Oleksii Serdiuk, NCP in the field of ‘Civil Security for Society’, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, participated on behalf of Ukraine.

11–12 June 2025 – participation in brokerage meetings in Brussels aimed at establishing partnerships for the preparation of joint projects. Ukraine was represented by Oleksandr Chemerys, NCP in this area, Institute for Energy Modelling Problems named after H. Pukhov, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The final part of the event featured a discussion and a Q&A session, during which participants had the opportunity to clarify aspects of participation in grants, submission of project applications and partnership cooperation.

Expanding Ukraine's opportunities in the Horizon Europe programme is an important step towards Ukraine's integration into the European Research Area.
