About 120 representatives of the teaching staff and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the volunteer organisation BanderoBjilkaJkoFei took part in a meeting with a representative of the international volunteer movement - an active paramedic, Austrian citizen Mr Ben (@ben.paramedic).
The meeting was held in a hybrid format, and the participants had the opportunity to communicate with a person for whom helping others is not just a life choice, but a deep inner conviction that is implemented in his daily activities. As a paramedic and active volunteer, Mr Ben proves his dedication and absolute support for Ukraine and Ukrainians in difficult times.
The Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA was represented by:
The audience had a chance to talk to Mr Ben personally, as for him, helping is not just a matter of life, but a conviction turned into action. We talked about moral resilience in crisis conditions, the power of motivation, actions despite fatigue and risks, and the unique experience that is formed where human vulnerability and indomitable spirit meet.
This dialogue provided an opportunity to see volunteering through the eyes of a man who became a part of Ukrainian reality at the most crucial moment.
The participants of the meeting engaged in a meaningful exchange of views, questions, and reflections.
The event was organised and held thanks to the joint efforts of the International Relations and Interuniversity Work Group: specialist Svitlana Stelmakh, translator Yuliia Onyshchenko, Career Guidance Specialist of the Department of Social, Humanitarian, Educational and Career Guidance Work Tetiana Samchishyna, and the Department of International Cooperation of KhNUIA.
Together we create a space of cooperation, trust and sustainability.
