The scientific forum, held at the Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, was attended by more than 200 participants from 17 countries. More than 130 abstracts were submitted to the organising committee.
On behalf of the administration of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the annual conference ‘Aviation, Industry, Society’ was opened by Vice-Rector, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honoured Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr MUZYCHUK. In his speech, he highlighted the importance of aviation industry in the context of modern challenges, and the significant role of unmanned aerial vehicles in Ukraine’s state aviation.
The International Conference was also attended by Serhii NAUMENKO, Director of the Aviation Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, who spoke in detail about the peculiarities of the practical application of aviation equipment in practical units.
Ruslan YAKOVLIEV, Director of the College, addressed the audience and emphasised the importance of holding a scientific and practical conference as a platform for the exchange of ideas and development of professional competence of the participants. Serhii VLADOV, Head of the College's Scientific Activities Organisation Department, presented the agreement between Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA and the Department of Information Systems and Networks of Lviv Polytechnic National University, which was concluded as part of further cooperation.
The plenary session was delivered by: Oleh AVRUNIN, Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, with a report on modern approaches to conducting classes in a mixed form of educational process; Yevhen VOLKANIN, Head of the Department of Electronic Communications, Radio Engineering and Avionics at the Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA, Candidate of Technical Sciences, who spoke about the prospects for the development of gravitational energy storage; Symon SERBENIUK, Research Associate of the Scientific Activity Organisation Department of KhNUIA, who reported on some legal aspects of international cooperation between higher education institutions in the context of achieving sustainable development goals, and other participants.
