On 7 May 2025, the fourth webinar in a series of educational events organised by the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in partnership with the Institut de Recerca TransJus (Barcelona, Spain) took place. The topic of the meeting was ‘Application of the principles of good governance in Catalonia’.

During the event, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the practical aspects of implementing the principles of good governance in Catalonia, in particular in the areas of transparency, accountability, public participation and legal responsibility of the authorities. Experts from the University of Barcelona shared their experience in implementing European standards in the public administration system and answered questions from the audience.

The webinar was attended by students, researchers and teachers from various educational institutions of Ukraine. Among the participants were representatives of the Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA:

- Olena Tsymbalisova, the Deputy Director of the College for Educational and Scientific Activities,

- from the Scientific Activity Organization Department: the head Serhii Vladov and the associate researcher Nataliia Kitsel;

- the head of the Department of Management, Social Sciences, Humanities and Fundamental Disciplines Maryna Kiriukhina;

- from the International Relations and Interuniversity Work Group: the specialist Svitlana Stelmakh and the translator Yullia Onyshchenko.

 The event was another step in strengthening international academic cooperation and promoting the professional development of the Ukrainian academic community under martial law.

Participation in such webinars provides access to the best European practices in the field of public administration, and promotes the integration of Ukrainian education and science into the European academic environment. The importance of international dialogue and exchange of experience is especially growing in the face of current challenges, and such events are a powerful tool for supporting and developing the educational environment in Ukraine.
