On May 9, 2025, the Department of Management of Social, Humanitarian and Fundamental Disciplines of the Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a scientific seminar ‘Ukraine is Europe’ dedicated to the Day of the European Union. The event was attended by Olha Khomiak, a teacher of the Department, Maryna Kiriukhina, Head of the Department, and students of the study group Pdsp 24-1b.

The purpose of the seminar was to deepen knowledge of the history of the EU, European values, reveal historical and cultural ties between Ukraine and Europe, and to raise awareness of European integration and the formation of European identity among students. The seminar began with an introduction by Maryna Kiriukhina, who emphasised the importance of the topic. Olga Khomyak delivered a speech on ‘Historical and Cultural Roots of Ukraine's European Identity’, which was accompanied by a multimedia presentation. The report was followed by an active discussion, during which the students asked questions and expressed their own opinions. Students presented their reports and presentations on Ukraine's European integration.
